An Emirates ID's validity matches the holder's residence visa, so the two renew together — visa first, then biometrics at an ICP centre. Madriat tracks both dates for every employee and reminds you in time for both steps.
Why Emirates IDs slip
Because the card renews after the visa, it is easy to finish the visa and forget the card. Weeks later somebody finds out at a bank counter or a government portal.
Madriat keeps the Emirates ID as its own record with its own date, so finishing the visa renewal does not quietly finish the reminders for the card.
The renewal checklist
Residence visa renewed first.
Biometrics done at the ICP centre.
Card collected, and the scan uploaded to the employee's record.
When the reminders arrive
- Nothing while a document has more than 60 days left — three months out is not news.
- An email every third day from 60 days out, to the person responsible for it.
- Every morning at 07:00 Gulf time from 20 days out.
- Three times a day — 07:00, 12:00 and 17:00 — in the last 5 days, and after expiry until it is renewed.
- Inside the last 10 days it goes to everyone on the account, or the department manager, flagged urgent.

Questions
Can I keep a scan of each Emirates ID?
Yes. Scans are stored privately against the employee and can only be downloaded by your own logins.
Does it send reminders to the employee?
Reminders go to the people with a login on your account — usually HR or the PRO — not to each employee. You can give every login a second address for reminders too.
Is an Emirates ID tracker worth it for a small team?
For a team of five it saves a spreadsheet. For fifty it is the difference between renewing in good time and finding out at a counter.
